Sprint is the Scrum term for iteration. Iterations are cycles during which we focus on a subset of features and create a usable product.

Sprints should be shorter than one month. We usually prefer shorter Sprints. Two-week or three-week Sprints are the most common choices.

They all have the same duration, and it’s set in the beginning of the project. They are also “time-boxed”, which means that they have a maximum duration and we NEVER extend them. We just deliver as many items as we could, and we never extend it to complete something.

So, we have the Product Backlog, and we’re going to start the first Sprint. What should be the first thing we do?
